My Story

I'm here because this work changed my life — and I know it can change yours too.

For over a decade, I've immersed myself in the study and practice of mind-body health.

I hold degrees in Medical Neuroscience (BSc) and Sports Nutrition (MSc), certifications in Pilates, Mindfulness, The Body Belief Method, and training as a Pirts Spirit Practitioner in Latvian-inspired heat and nature healing.

I bring both expertise and lived experience to this work — because I'm also on my own healing journey, and what I've learned has changed my life. I believe it's my calling to share this with you.

I worked as a performance nutritionist with elite sports teams and travelled with them to some incredible places. I had achieved my goal already at 25 years old, and yet something inside me felt unfulfilled, as I realized that this role was not aligned with my values or deeper desires. On top of that, top-level sport comes with top-level pressure, and although I was academically well-educated, I hadn’t been taught the tools to thrive in such an environment.

As with many people, time for change was not made by choice. Despite the feelings of dissatisfaction, I couldn’t let go of how hard I had worked to get here, or the status it gave me. I thought I should be happy — but my body knew differently and had other plans. Burnout forced me to step away from work and begin a deep reevaluation of my direction and desires.

That was when I embarked on the most profound journey of self-healing and personal growth. I realized that although I had spent my life with a brain thirsty for information about health and wellbeing, I was totally ignoring my body, disconnected from its wisdom and its language.

My journey took me into self-teaching mindfulness tools to ground my nervous system, into discovering the healing power of nature through Latvian Pirts, into training as a Pilates teacher and also into the body belief work that I have now trained to facilitate. From here I began teaching movement classes where I naturally integrated mindfulness and breath so people would leave feeling embodied, relaxed, and growing strength in both muscles and mind.

Through this work, I connected to a purpose that felt far greater than myself, one that rang true in my body. This was my calling, and every life experience I had was a lesson or a redirection to bring me here, all in its right time and space.

I learnt through experience how life opens and expands in the most unexpected ways when you live from a space of authenticity.

  • That the body is always communicating with us and when we learn to listen, we can tap into a deeper level of wisdom, knowing, truth and self healing.

  • That self-care can exist alongside your daily life and when you show yourself love through the food you eat, the movement you do and the time you take to slow down, your health expands on a mind and body level.

  • That the brain can be rewired so that old patterns, conditioning and learnt responses even from childhood and be rewritten to support a homecoming to your true self and to claim the life you’re here to lead.

  • That you can choose the thoughts you believe and you can reclaim your choice in how you experience life, how you respond to it, how you move through it, the actions you take and the inner narrative that supports that.

  • That thriving in both mind and body is not something we are gifted but something we train for. Because the brain, just like the body, also needs consistent training and diet to maintain optimal health.
